A charming open plan Casita with private plunge pool set amongst fruit trees in a beautiful, tranquil spot only 2km from the village of Valor. Sun Terrace with panoramic view, shady outdoor dining area, traditional pizza oven, solar shower and much much more!
'Cuesta Vinas' is located within a small hamlet of the same name. It is famed for its naturally carbonated spring water where people travel for miles around to sample its mineral properties. Situated just 2 km out of the village of Valor, (a gentle 25 minute stroll), this casita is perched on the hillside overlooking the hamlet and offers peace and tranquillity without being remote.
Within the 2000 square meters of land you will find a 4m diameter plunge pool with sun bathing area and parasol, gardens and a shaded outdoor dining area, all with fantastic views down the valley to the sierras of Gador and the Contraviersa.
The spacious casita is open-plan, divided into a well equipped dining kitchen, sitting area with an antique wood burning stove and fabulous views down the valley, and a comfortable bedroom area which can be curtained off for privacy if you so wish.
The house is surrounded by extensive terraces with both sunny and shaded areas. The shaded, outdoor dining space is accessed from the kitchen by french windows and seats 4 in comfort. It is equipped with both a BBQ and a wood fired earth oven. The sunny front terrace has sunbeds in addition to a further table and seating, whilst to the rear, there is an outdoor solar heated shower.
The house is traditionally built with shutters which keep out the fierce heat in July and August whilst ensuring a cosy space during the colder months of winter.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with 4 ring gas hob, fridge with icebox and of course the kitchen sink!. There is ample crockery, glassware, cutlery etc. A dining table provides indoor seating next to the french windows .
The living area is focused around the old wood burner with comfortable seating for 4 and contains a selection of books and games for evening entertainment. French windows give access to the front sunbathing terrace. The bedroom area has a double bed and plenty of storage space and can be screened from the rest of the house by full length curtains hung from the wooden beam. The separate, tiled bathroom contains shower, washbasin and WC.
There is wireless broadband and a speaker system suitable for an MP3 player/ipod available for your use in the casita.
There is also a washing machine in the unit for you to use (shared with Casa Verde)
Casa Verde is a second casita also available to rent but the two are totally separate and private from each other and each has it's own pool, gardens and terraces.

A tapas tour - Granada is the last province in Spain where every bar will automatically serve a free tapas with your drink. Bars here compete on the quality of their tapas so with 5 bars in Valor you can be sure of a tasty morsel!
Stroll 50 meters down the lane to the local spring (fuente) and sample the slighly carbonated water which come bubbling out of the rock. People come from miles around to collect this delicious drinking water.
Taking a walk - Local walks abound, simply choose a direction and off you go. There are waymarked paths but don't worry too much about trespassing as the locals are more likely to weigh you down with their home grown produce than berate you for straying on to their land.
Visiting the local award winning vineyard, Dominio Buenavista for stunning wines in a stunning setting. They've even been known to offer a free puppy with each bottle of wine!
Taking in a local fiesta - If you're lucky enough to visit during the four days of fiesta (september 11-15) you'll experience the spectacular Moors and Christians in the village plaza, costumes, horses and musket fire make for an unforgettable experience.
